About this event

From Unite America: View the new 30-minute film Majority Rules 101

Alaskans made history in 2020 when they passed the first-in-the-nation election system that not only eliminated party primaries but adopted a voting system for the general election that gave them the option to rank candidates in order of preference.

The surprising results spark new alliances, a growing call for election reform, and fierce pushback from political parties. Could changing how Americans vote also change politics for the better?

The film will be followed by a brief presentation about election reform as well as a Q&A.
